The
Future of Chicago is an annual lecture program that promotes public
debate on Chicago issues. It is organized by Dick Simpson, UIC professor
of political science and former Chicago alderman, and Doug Gills,
assistant professor in the college of urban planning and public affairs.
UIC has hosted the public program since 1976.
