HULL-HOUSE CONFERENCE POSTPONED

The third annual Jane Addams Hull-House Museum conference, "Hull-House Magazine and the Chicago Cultural Front, 1930-1945," scheduled for Sept. 21-22 at the University of Illinois at Chicago, has been rescheduled for April 12-13, 2002, due to travel complications.

"This postponement is particularly disappointing because so many of the individuals in the magazine circle had a thoughtful critique of military intervention and were committed to international understanding and reconciliation," said Margaret (Peg) Strobel, interim director of the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum and conference coordinator. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

Details about the new conference are available online.
