FIRST LADY LAURA BUSH TO VISIT UIC MEDICAL CENTER MAY 14
First Lady Laura Bush will visit the Children and Adolescents Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center to highlight Reach Out and Read program, a program that encourages physicians and nurses to utilize well-child visits to help parents understand the importance of reading to their young children. After meeting young patients at the UIC Medical Center, she will address 150 doctors, nurses and staff members about Reach Out and Read.
