The Interactions
Series will bring together innovative electronic literature artists
and humanities scholars who will lead discussions of works presented.
"UIC is fortunate
to host this series. Thanks to computers and the Internet, new media
provide important tools for artists, and the Electronic Literature
Organization showcases the best of new media art and literature,"
said Steve Jones, professor and head of the department of communication
and a senior research fellow at the Pew Internet and American Life
Project.
The Electronic
Literature Organization is a nonprofit organization that works to

The Interactions

Council and the Chicago Humanities Festival.
The online Newspoetry
is an alternative news source that produces daily poems based on current
